REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT FOR TRAINING
ECDE Program for Certificate/Diploma in service course
A minimum KCSE Grade or KCE Division 1or 2 Primary Teacher Education P1 Teacher Training Certificate
At least D+ in the KCSE Examination of KCE Division 3 and have a Dicese or Kindergaten Headmistress Association Certificate.
ECDE Teacher with a pass in Knec proficiency Examination for Diploma in ECDE
KNEC Certificate in ECDE
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE IN ECDE
A maximum of KCSE mean grade D+ or equivalent from a recognized Examination body.
A KCPE Certificate or its equivalent and must have taught for a maximum of three years and passed a proficiency Certificate Administration by the KNEC
Must have undertaken either four 4 full terms of Pre -Service Training or six6 in service Training Session in addition to fulfilling the requirements fot Training practice.
DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (DTE)
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
KCSE -MEAN GRADE-C+ (PLUS) &ABOVE C+ IN TWO TEACHING SUBJECTS
C (PLAIN) IN ENLISH, D+ (PLUS) IN MATHEMATICS
